Amageza Amahle music group was formed by Mtshengiseni “Ndidane” Gcwensa in 2004.The group’s first album was titled “Ukhona uShembe”. Amageza Amahle released a number of albums from 2004 until Mtshengiseni passed on in 2015.
After Mtshengiseni’s death, two of his long time dancers/backers,

Khayelihle “Potso” Ngobese and Cebo Hlabisa were appointed to lead the group/band in 2015, shortly after his funeral. The band has released 2 albums (2016 and 2017).

This group has won 22 awards between 2004 and 2015 under the leadership of Mtshengiseni Gcwensa and it recently won the best-selling award under the leadership of the duo in 2017 at Amantshontsho awards with the album called Ingqaqa Mazinyo.

Amageza Amahle has a huge following on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, branches in all cities which make it easy for the group to distribute its music nationally.
